Modern Office recently partnered with Mount Maunganui College to deliver a tailored education furniture fitout designed to perform in a busy secondary school environment. The project included student single and double desks, large collaborative leaner tables with matching high stools, and a teacher workstation with integrated modesty panel.
Student seating featured one-piece moulded polypropylene chairs, lightweight, durable and stackable up to 10 high for efficient storage and flexibility between classroom layouts. All student desks and tables were specified with hard-wearing composite laminate worktops, selected for their strength, moisture resistance and longevity in high-use learning spaces. The teacher desk was finished in melteca, providing a practical and cohesive solution for the front-of-class environment.
