When Vitruvius’ Tauranga team decided to relocate and refresh their office space, they wanted to create a modern and relaxed environment that reflected their people-first culture. Vitruvius is committed to providing a workplace where employees can bring their full selves to work, feel valued, and thrive, and they wanted their workspace to reflect this ethos.
Modern Office partnered with Vitruvius to relocate and enhance their existing office setup while introducing new elements that elevated both function and comfort.
We helped the team relocate 26 Enhance height-adjustable desks, upgrading them with cable ports, soft wiring, and Harmony acoustic desk screens to improve privacy and sound absorption in their open-plan space. Additional desks were added to complement the original layout, ensuring the growing team had a cohesive and functional setup.
Beyond the workstations, we assisted with relocating bar leaners, chairs, and other key furniture, ensuring a smooth transition to their updated workspace.
The staffroom was reimagined with a warm, café-style atmosphere, featuring banquette seating, tables, chairs, and ottomans for a comfortable, social feel. The Ottoman fabric, a recent release from Warwick, combined earthy brown tones and subtle patterns to create visual interest and warmth.
To encourage flexible working, we added 3-pin power to the soft seating area to support hot-desking and laptop use.
Outdoors, deck furniture and leaners provide a relaxed area for collaboration or downtime, while the boardroom now features Diablo chairs, adding a touch of modern sophistication.
The new Tauranga office strikes a perfect balance between professionalism and comfort with a space that supports collaboration, wellbeing, and flexibility.
